Directions/Parking/Drop-Off/Pick-Up

 Traffic routes around the Center Grove High School have been updated for the 2025-26 school year. These changes are designed to improve safety, reduce traffic back-up on Morgantown Road, and improve traffic flow - based on feedback we received last year. 

STUDENT DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP
Parents dropping off and picking up students from Center Grove High School should enter the high school campus by turning off of Morgantown Road onto Pennington Drive. Traffic on Pennington will continue through the peanut-shaped roundabout to east of the Tennis Complex and into the lot between the Innovation Center and Baseball Field. (See map below.) Parents will then continue north through the lot to the exit and turn left (south) back onto Trojan Lane. They will travel west, past the Tennis Complex, and turn right (north) onto Victory Lane to enter the drop-off/pick-up line. Drop-off is at Door #9, the same as prior years. This is the only location where students should be dropped off at school. Parents will then exit the campus by following Victory Lane to the roundabout at the intersection with Trojan Lane and continue north to Stones Crossing Road.

STUDENT PARKING
FOOTBALL STUDENT LOT: Students may enter the parking lot east of the football stadium from Morgantown Road. They should take Pennington Road straight through the peanut-shaped roundabout, and curve around to Trojan Lane. There is no access from the north on Trojan Lane before school to this lot. This is not a change from prior years, however, students will be permitted to exit via Morgantown or Stones Crossing after school this year. Please note that this traffic will merge at the roundabout with parent pick-up traffic and students exiting the north lots.

NORTH STUDENT LOTS: Students may enter the north student lots from Stones Crossing Road. They should turn onto Trojan Lane and turn right into the student lot.  (This is not a change from prior years.)

GATE RESTRICTIONS 
Gates will be down on Pennington Road at the peanut to restrict traffic from turning left onto Victory Lane and on Trojan Lane just south of the roundabout from 7:30-8:05 AM when school is in session. The Pennington Road gate will also be down from 2:15-3:15 PM. 

DURING SCHOOL PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
During the school day, students who are dropped off and picked up for appointments or late arrivals should use Door #9 (Hall of Excellence), where they will check in with staff at the security vestibule. After 1:30 PM, students may be picked up for appointments from Door #1should use the front administrative entrance (Door #1) at the flagpole/electronic sign off of Morgantown Road. Parents who need to come into the building should also use Door #1.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP
Parents dropping off and picking up students of any age for activities at Center Grove High School must follow the traffic markings around the high school. Traffic is restricted to one direction in front of the Hall of Excellence.

Tickets will be issued for drivers who violate traffic restrictions.
