Accuplacer
Students take the Accuplacer test to determine their eligibility to take college classes. Typically, the Accuplacer will be given starting in the sophomore year.
ACCUPLACER TEST INFO
Students may wish to use practice materials which are available online.
Accuplacer scores do not equate to a percentage and are only used to determine which classes students may take. Each college sets their own score requirements. Schools do change their entry score requirements in response to pass/fail rate. The purpose of using the Accuplacer is to let students into classes where they have a reasonable opportunity for success.
Immediately after completing the Accuplacer students will receive a printout that lists their scores. Look under Current Students-->Curriculum to see a list of courses for next year with Accuplacer minimums.
